Alex Duey (Sr): This is Alex’s 2nd year of running cross country after a career in soccer. In his first year he ran onto a varsity position with the team, setting a personal best time of 17:29.4 at the Nike Heartland Regional meet. He is the inventor of the infamous “Duey Flop,” which can be seen at the conclusion of any workout…and, some recovery runs
Will Fairbairn (Sr): This is Will’s 2nd year of running cross country. He set his personal best time of 23:19.8 at the Victoria Lion’s Invite in 2024. Will can always be seeing carrying a stick, even on his runs.
Dylan Gagnon (Sr): Dylan is a 4-year member of the Eastview cross country program. Highlights include having run at least one varsity race in each season. His personal best time came at the 2024 Nike Heartland race, finishing the course in 17:21.9. Recently has joined the golf craze sweeping the cross-country team.
Grayson Jansma (Sr): Grayson’s 4th year of cross country will kick off this year. His previous personal best performance of 19:25.0 came at the Dick Mitchell Invite in 2023. Grayson has been recognized as the athlete most likely to ask the question that the coach just finished answering.
Kiernan Lee (Sr): A 4-year participant in cross country, having varsity experience in his sophomore and junior seasons. Perhaps the politest member of the team, set his personal best of 18:02.6 at the 2024 Section 3AAA meet
Isaac Moffitt (Sr): Isaac’s 4th season running cross country looks to be a promising one. His previous best time came at the 2024 Nike Heartland Regional meet where he ran 19:56.3. Of note, he is the godfather of coach Fusco’s dog.
Avery Nielson (Sr): Avery’s 3rd season running cross country after earning a varsity spot during his junior season where he set a pr of 17:25.3 at the 2024 Section 3AAA meet. Avery is also an important member of the tennis team in the spring, and known for emulating John Travolta’s “Saturday Night Fever” walk.
Caden Sherman (Sr): This is Caden’s 3rd year of running cross country. Highlights for Caden involve having been a varsity member of the team each year he has competed and setting a personal best time of 16:51.5 at the Section 3AAA meet in 2024. Of special note, driver of the least aerodynamic car on the team.
Lucas Spitzack (Sr): Lucas has been a varsity runner in 3 of his 4 years of running cross country, with his best performance coming in the 2024 Section 3AAA meet in 2024 where he ran 18:14.1. Lucas is known to be the only member of the Eastview Cross Country team capable of completing a back flip.
Kalvin Alfonso (Sr): This is Kalvin's second year of running cross country. He has a personal best of 20:34.6 set at the South Suburban Conference Championship last year
Luke Bakken (Jr): Luke started off his cross-country career impressively, with the 5th fastest time ever run by a freshman in school history (17:28.4). Unfortunately, injury took away most of his sophomore season; and, following a winless paper football season in coach Fusco’s AP Calculus class, Luke is looking forward to getting back to dominating the cross-country course.
Drew Bianconi (Jr): This is Drew’s first season at Eastview and 1st season running cross country after 2 track seasons. He is looking forward to making his mark on the program.
Finn Heilek (Jr): This is Finn's first year at Eastview High School as he is visiting from Germany.
Evan Crosby (So): Evan is looking forward to following up his debut season where he set a personal best time of 22:01.3.
Tyler Henry (So): Tyler is excited to follow up his freshman Nike Regional Performance of 22:06.9 with another epic Nike breakfast…and a breakout sophomore season. Tyler is known for having three first names for his first, middle, and last name.
Reed Munson (So): After a busy summer Reed is looking forward to getting back to work and improving on his personal best time of 19:43.6, run at the Nike Regional Meet. Reed was also a critical member of Eastview’s math team this past winter, helping the team to a 9th place finish at the state competition.
Owen Sampson (So): This will be Owen’s first year of running a full cross-country season. However, he did compete at the Nike Heartland Region in 2024, setting a mark of 17:43.1 that he is hungry to chase down. Of special note over the summer, Owen is one of the lucky few to pass his driver’s test at the Eagan location on his first try.
Eli Torres (So): In his second season of running, Eli is looking to get into more races this season and show steady progress following his freshman year.
Brady Bill (Fr): A graduate of Scott Highlands Middle School, Brady is looking to make his mark on the team in 2025
Rhys Haight (Fr): A graduate of Black Hawk Middle School, Rhys has started off the 2025 season well. Rhys also participates in basketball as one of “Chad’s Ballers.”
Ethan Hegy (Fr): After a career of sprints and jumps at Scott Highlands Middle, Ethan is looking to make the jump up to longer distances in high school. Ethan is a mini “Chad’s Baller.”
Wes Johnson (Fr): Previously ran for Falcon Ridge Middle School where he finished 2nd and 4th on the team in the 1 and 1.5 mile races, respectively. After a strong summer of hard work, looking to have a strong showing in high school.
Austin Larsen (Fr): Graduating from Falcon Ridge in 2025, this is Austin’s first season of cross country. After a consistent summer of work, he is looking to make waves this season. Also, a participant with Eastview’s hockey and lacrosse programs.
Bodey Loberg (Fr): Also, a graduate of Falcon Ridge, had a busy day of long jump, 800m and 1600m at the district track championships in the spring of 2025. He finished 4th in the 1600 with a personal best of 5:30.1
Charlie Nelson (Fr): Graduate of Scott Highlands Middle School in 2025 where he earned the nickhame "Frenchie." After extensive research, and a call to the French embassy, no one can explain where this nickname came from. Charlie is looking to make an impact this fall.
Cooper Peplinski (Fr): Cooper has been stuck at the number 6 in his 2024-2025 cross country and track seasons at Scott Highlands Middle. He finished 6th at the district XC championship and 6th in the 1600 at the track & field championship. He is looking to follow up his strong performances at the high school level.
Zach Sulzbach (Fr): Zach is following up his 2024 season at Falcon Ridge Middle School with his first season at the high school level this year for Eastview.
Evan Samson (Fr): Evan joins us from Black Hawk Middle School. He posted a 9th place finish at last year's district championships in the mile, setting a personal best time of 6:20
Isaak Taylor (Fr): Another graduate of Falcon Ridge, Isaak is following a tradition of Taylors through the Eastview running programs. Proud best play buddy of two red labradors.
Adon Tedros (Fr): A graduate of Scott Highlands Middle School. This season will be Adon's first experience running cross country.
Roland Webster (Fr): This will be Roland’s first season of competition for Eastview after completing his career at Falcon Ridge Middle this past spring
Max Winebrenner (Fr): A strong former runner of Falcon Ridge Middle where he finished 9th at the district cross country championships, and 7th and 8th respectively in the 1600m and 800m at the district track and field championships. Looking to bring that success to Eastview this fall.
Henry Zoch (Fr): Henry is following his cross-country career at Falcon Ridge by starting a new journey with Eastview cross country this fall.
